The use of information collected through the Website shall be limited to the purpose of providing the service for which you, as the user, have requested from us and for the purposes set forth in this Privacy Policy.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it


When you leave comments on the Website, we collect the data entered into the comments form, and also your IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. If you upload images to the Website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the Website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.


Contact forms

These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will be effective for one year. This cookie contains no Personal Data and is discarded when you close your browser. Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of the Website and our services. This data is shared with other Google services. Google may use the collected data to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network. Usage Data

We may also collect information how the Website and our services are accessed and used (“Usage Data”). This Usage Data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of the Website that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. For users that register on the Website (if any), we also store the Personal Data they provide in their user profile. Generally, users can see, edit, or delete their Personal Data (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information. You understand and agree, however, that it may not be possible to completely delete all information from our databases and in such case,  we may retain (but not display, distribute, or perform) server copies of your information that have been removed or deleted from your account.
